About Us

The Initiative for Public Policy Analysis (IPPA) is Nigeria's public policy research institute or think tank. Founded in 2002, IPPA's major concern is to conduct policy-relevant researches within the principles and institutions underlying a free and open society.

IPPA engages in research and analysis on topical policy issues and always aim at bridging the evidence gap in policy debate in Africa and Nigeria. Our ultimate aim is to inform evidence based policies and we undertake a number of activities, among them research and advocacy on public policy issues and primary and secondary data

collection for partners Our researches and activities are segregated into thematic focus covering development economics, trade and entrepreneurship; health; agriculture and rural development; conflict and security studies etc
